1. General
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through the RisengDesign website, operated by RisengDesign.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
RisengDesign develops and supplies specialist engineering components primarily intended for motorsport and performance applications.
2. Products and Intended Use
Our products are designed for specific applications as described in the relevant product listings.
The customer is responsible for verifying compatibility, dimensions, specifications and suitability for the intended application before ordering.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our products are intended for motorsport or performance use and may not be approved for use on public roads. The customer is responsible for verifying applicable vehicle regulations, competition requirements and legal restrictions.
Product photographs and illustrations are provided for reference. Minor cosmetic differences may occur where they do not materially affect the stated specifications or functionality.
3. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by RisengDesign and product availability.
An order confirmation acknowledging receipt of an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where necessary due to pricing errors, incorrect product information, stock shortages, suspected fraudulent activity or other legitimate reasons. Any payment received for a cancelled order will be refunded.
For custom-made, specially configured or made-to-order products, production may not begin until the order and specifications have been confirmed.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, prices exclude applicable taxes, import duties, customs charges and other fees imposed by the destination country.
Shipping costs and any applicable taxes collected at checkout will be shown where supported by the checkout process.
Payment must be completed using the payment methods offered at checkout. Orders may be withheld from processing until payment has been authorised or received.
If a pricing or calculation error is discovered, we will contact the customer to agree on how to proceed or cancel the order and refund any payment received, as required by applicable law.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery estimates are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed otherwise.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional costs arising from an incorrect address, failed delivery or customs procedures may be charged where permitted by law.
International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearance requirements. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the customer's responsibility.
Risk of loss or damage during shipping transfers in accordance with applicable law and the agreed delivery terms. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights concerning delivery or shipping risk.
If a shipment is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact us promptly with the order number and relevant documentation.
6. Returns, Refunds and Defective Products
Due to the specialised nature of our motorsport products, we generally do not accept discretionary returns for change of mind, incorrect ordering or changes to the customer's project requirements, except where required by applicable law.
This does not exclude any mandatory statutory right of withdrawal, complaint or other remedy that applies to the transaction.
If a product has a manufacturing defect, machining error, incorrect dimensions or does not match the specifications or application explicitly stated in its listing, the customer should contact us with the order number, a description of the issue and supporting photographs or measurements.
We will assess the claim and provide an appropriate remedy where warranted, in accordance with these terms and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, correction or refund.
Please do not modify or further machine a product with a suspected defect before contacting us, unless necessary for safety or otherwise permitted by law.

7. Motorsport Use and Product Limitations
Motorsport components may operate under high loads, temperatures, speeds and other demanding conditions. Actual performance and service life depend on factors including installation, setup, maintenance, vehicle configuration and operating conditions.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee a particular competition result, service life or performance outcome.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that products are installed, inspected, maintained and operated correctly, and that the complete assembly is suitable for its intended use.
Products must not be used outside their stated specifications or intended operating parameters.
8. Installation and Modifications
Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person with the necessary technical knowledge and equipment.
The customer is responsible for verifying clearances, fasteners, torque settings, lubrication, alignment and compatibility with associated components, as applicable.
Unauthorised modifications, incorrect installation, improper maintenance, misuse or operation outside the intended design parameters may compromise product safety and performance and may affect the assessment of a warranty or defect claim.
Nothing in this section removes statutory rights that apply to a product defect.
9. Warranty and Statutory Rights
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, RisengDesign does not provide an additional voluntary commercial warranty covering competition use, performance outcomes, wear or service life under motorsport operating conditions.
This does not mean that products are exempt from applicable statutory requirements. Mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to defective or incorrectly described products, remain unaffected.
The rights available to a customer depend on the nature of the transaction, the customer's location and the applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RisengDesign is not responsible for losses arising from improper installation, misuse, unauthorised modification, inadequate maintenance, incompatible components or use outside the product's stated specifications.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of competition entry fees, vehicle downtime, loss of profits or damage to other components.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable mandatory consumer rights.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content, product designs, drawings, technical documentation, photographs, logos and other materials remain the property of RisengDesign or their respective rights holders unless otherwise stated.
No content or design may be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used to manufacture competing products without prior written permission, except where permitted by law or agreed in writing.
12. Privacy and Cookies
Personal information collected during ordering and payment is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the transaction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in the customer's country of residence.
Where Norwegian law applies, disputes will be handled by the competent Norwegian courts, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer protection rules.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the order was placed, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement.
